It’s the dreadiest season of all again. The season of cracked skins, chapped lips, bleeding nose and blocked nostrils
I for one dislike this season, somebody will cream body, it will be like as if you didn’t cream at all, everywhere white. You can relate too abi?
Here are few tips to helping you stay wholesome this season…
Take a lot of water at this time, if possible always carry a water bottle (I know right, ya to big to be carrying water bottle about, ok, buy a bottled water instead) help you stay hydrated, this is to prevent you from having cracked skin and from excessive thirst.
Take More Fruits and Vegetables
Wash fruits and vegetables properly before consumption. Fruits and vegetables supply vitamins to the body, this helps fight diseases and infections which may be associated with harmattan like cold and flu. You don’t have to spend much o, with 300 you’d buy watermelon and dey alright. In case you don’t have access to fruits in your area, you could get fruit juice instead (the naturally preserved ones).
Wear Thick Clothes
When the night is cold, it is advisable to wear clothing that would suppress the cold, to avoid waking up with block nostrils in the morning.
Use Shea Butter
If you’re to big to use Shea butter, use Vaseline. You can use any body moisturizer that has the ability of preventing the skin from dryness, but I can vouch for Shea butter and Vaseline. They no dey fail pesin.
These few tips yet so simple should keep you healthy this harmattan, follow these tips diligently and your body will thank you.
