Win N100,000 & More In Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition

Bishop Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition for Senior Secondary School Students in Nigeria is here again

Entries for 2019 are now opened and will close on 7th of June 2019. The theme topic for this year’s competition is “Justice as an Instrument of Enduring Peace in Nation Building”. This year’s competition makes it the 16th edition.

Participation Process

  • Essay of maximum of 2000 words
  • A Passport Photograph of the Student
  • Full Name, Address, Contact Telephone Number
  • Class, School and Name and Telephone contact of the Principal

Entries are to be submitted via essay@trem.org or by post to International Headquaters of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) Obanikoro/Anthony Oke Bus Stop, Lagos, Nigeria.

First Prize

Three set of desktop computers and a printer for the winning school  while the winning student individually goes home with a plaque and trophy coupled with a brand new laptop and whooping sum of N100,000.

First runner up

The First runner up school also gets two sets of desktop computers, a printer and a sum of N75,000 coupled with a plaque for the student.

Second Runner Up

School gets a desktop computer while the student goes home with a cash prize of N50,000 and a plaque.
